Electricity access for 600 million people in sub-Saharan countries by the means of solar plus storage

According to a study done by the University of California (Berkeley, USA), the option of decentralized solar-plus-storage will give 600 million people in sub-Saharan countries access to electricity. These storage facilities are separated from grid power. The costs might start to be higher, but will probably drop soon and a lot more reliably. This opens up the option to electricity to many people in Sub-Saharan countries.
