Devergy remote minigrids

Devergy remote minigrids – Devergy has built several adaptive minigrid systems to electrify remote villages in Tanzania. The minigrids use distributed, networked solar PV with battery storage that provide 24V direct current (DC) electricity. The system can supply between 60 and 400 households and the electricity can be used for lighting, mobile-phone charging and appliances for household or small-business use. It has a remote, internet-based monitoring system. Flexible payment systems are used to finance the minigrids.
